Aoibheann

A few weeks ago, I took a trip to Threemilehouse to take some photographs of Miss Aoibheann Hopkins.  I was very lucky to photograph Aoibheann’s Mum & Dad’s wedding a year and a half ago, and I was very excited to meet this little lady.  Aoibheann was home from England on holidays with her Granny & Granda Kieran.  There is something so special about the relationship that close family have with their granddaughter / niece / nephew.  As a Mammy myself, I am bowled over by the love that other people have for your child.  It’s so heart warming.  The Kieran family clearly dote on this little lady, and along with some gorgeous pics of Aoibheann on her own, I got the some great shots of her scooting around her Granny’s kitchen floor, playing with the family dog and even watching her great uncle on the tractor.

Photographing Catherine & Gareth’s wedding day was very relaxed affair and once again, this photo shoot, was hugely enjoyable.  Miss Aoibheann is at that lovely stage where she is starting to notice people and react to them.  Her little belly chuckle is a sound that would bring a smile to anybody’s face.  Next time, Aoibheann . . . I’ll film your little giggle, so your Mammy & Daddy can play it back to you in years to come.
