Ellen

A little trip up to Doohamlet was the order of the day to photograph the beautiful Casey Family and in particular, Miss Ellen. This little bundle of pink cuteness was such a delight to photograph. Her wee baby toes . . . cute little fingers . . . and wispy black hair . . . just beautiful. Watching Charlene cuddling & chatting away to her “little ballerina” was something else. Seriously . . . this lady just makes motherhood look so darn easy. From the minute Charlene met me at the front door, she was bouncing about with a huge smile on her face and full of . . . (I’m getting sentimental here!) . . . happiness! Pregnancy books and online forums talk about the; “new mother glow” and “falling in love with your new baby” . . . and I have the pictorial proof right here. It’s no exaggeration to say that this little lady is greatly loved by both her Mammy & Daddy and not forgetting big brother; Jamie. During our photo shoot we also managed to squeeze in some Father / son shots during Ellen’s feeding time. Jamie was very eager to show me the new toy that Ellen got him . . . a mighty fine tractor. Already a fab sister 🙂

Many of you may know that Charlene is famous county / country wide for her Zumba moves. I’m very bold and haven’t made it to her class (yet!!), but I have heard that they are hugely enjoyable. When I get caught up on my editing and Mr Donnacha sleeps at night, I’m catching me some “zumba” action. I reckon there is a “cult” of zumba worshipers in Co Monaghan! How could they not be, with Charlene leading the banter? I left the Casey household feeling as if I’d known Charlene for years, as apposed to having just met her . . . but I bet, that’s also how her dance students feel, and the reason for her huge success. I cant wait to see the shapes that Ellen will throw in a few years time, and please please please . . . can I come back and take some more snaps of this little beauty??? 🙂
