Emily & Kieran // Nuremore Hotel // Monaghan

Emily & Kieran’s wedding day took place on one of the best days we had this summer. It was a scorcher!  The sun was shining bright, and when that happens around here, everybody’s spirits are automatically lifted.  I have to work a little harder and hunt out shady spots on wedding days . . . but I’ll always take sunshine whenever and however we get it.  We need not have worried because even if this wedding day had of taken place during a blizzard . . . I think I would have still had lots of photos of people smiling and laughing and having the best time.  Now, I might not have had photos of people eating ice cream and wearing their sunglasses . . . but . . . you get my drift!

Lets talk about the music.  This is important.  Emily is a hugely talented musician and I knew that her wedding mass would feature some gorgeous musical choices.  I think most of the guests were anticipating the musical treats at this wedding as much as they would if they were a paying guest at a musical concert.  I’m not exaggerating!  This music during this wedding mass was beautiful.  Way more than beautiful.  Emotional.  Sweet.  Reflective.  I can’t think of adjectives that would do it justice.  I think the smiles on the faces of Emily and Kieran will tell the story for you.  Of course a wedding day is about more than the music, but if the day starts off on the right note (boom boom . . . see what I did there 😉 ) . . .  its a great omen.
