My diary might say that it’s the first of March, but I’m going to bring you all the way back to December for this wedding blog post. I don’t even know what to write about Katherine & Michael’s wedding day, because there is too much to tell you!!! My brain is having a complete meltdown with all of the amazing details from this wedding day. Let me start by saying it was, gorgeous!!! I’m talking, bridal magazine . . . centre spread . . . drop . . . dead . . . GORGEOUS!!! There were floral crowns, boho chic styling, sunset photos, a wedding cake to die for and even a pocket-watch to tie the whole thing together. This wedding day was so much fun to photograph! The superb surroundings of Bellingham Castle made for some amazing photo backdrops. You know when a couple are laughing from the minute they see each other at the top of the aisle, that this is going to be a really, really good day.
The speeches from Katherine & Michaels wedding were hilarious and consisted of a heady mix of stories from; GAA, first family meetings and socialising before social media could catch you out 🙂 When these stories are told by men with the lovely Antrim lilt and a good dry sense of humour, I don’t think there was a single person in the room who wasn’t bent over laughing at some stage in the night. I was one of those laughing whilst trying to man two cameras and to mask my laughing from being picked up by the onboard microphone. I’m sure is some world of wedding photography rules, I shouldn’t be laughing just so hard when in charge of documenting the event, but I never bought those books . . . so it’s ok 😉
Ok . . . enough rambling from me. It’s taken me long enough to get this blog post together, I don’t want to hold you back from this gorgeousness a single second longer! This is a ridiculously long blog post . . . I couldn’t help it. I don’t think you’ll mind though 😉 Come see x
Oh . . . and thanks so so much to Katherine & Michael for being the most amazing couple to work. They made my life super easy and are the most patient people in the whole . . . wide . . . world xxx
