The October wedding of Rachele & Kieran was a wedding that I was very excited about. After the engagement shoot, I had no doubt that this couple would be a really fun couple to photograph on their wedding day. Turns out I was right! The morning preparations in Rachele’s house was a magical mixture of laughter and excitement. There was no doubting that everyone was very excited about the day, and perhaps a little nervous, but with Rachele’s laughter bouncing through the house . . . the atmosphere was happy and light. I had a fair idea that Rachele would be an elegant bride, but I hadn’t banked on all the gorgeous details that she had collated. I’m a complete sucker for beautiful shoes, and when I spied Rachele’s gunmetal Miu Miu pumps . . . well I was hooked. This lady has style! The kind of style that looks effortless and timeless. Every detail on this wedding day was clearly picked with careful consideration. From the; personalised tissues for the guests . . . to the wedding cars . . . to the children’s activity table in the reception . . . to the evening headpiece for Rachele. This wedding was beautiful!
Now, you can have all the beautiful crafts and wishing trees at a wedding, but it is all rendered meaningless unless the couple are the focus of the day. Rachele & Kieran were absolutely the focus of this wedding day. They were totally focused on each other. I just love the way this pair smile at each other . . . how they joke and tease each other . . . how they cuddle in close. I think, I might just love the way this couple are just so, totally, ridiculously happy together. Kieran is an absolute gentleman, who clearly thinks the world of his new lady wife. He also made my job super easy. All day long he had a huge smile on his face and was reciting the following; “Thanks Vanessa”, “Whatever you would like Vanessa”. Talk about making my job easy peasy!
Rachele and Kieran smiled the whole way through their wedding day. I see a bright and happy future ahead for this new Mr & Mrs . . . I’ve been right about everything else about this couple so far . . . I’ve a fair idea I’ll be right about the “happily every after too”.
